Winners Announced in WHERE Developer Contest Spring 2008

This spring, WHERE, a leading mobile app location provider, challenged Content Providers to develop an innovative Location-based Services app using the WHERE markup language. Contest participants vied for the chance to win thousands in prize money, as well as distribution and promotion opportunities.

Entries were judged using the WHERE Developer phone emulator, and WHERE hosted a Webcast to demonstrate how to use standard Web technologies to quickly develop an application for entry. The archive of the Webcast is available for replay on the WHERE Developer Contest Webcast page.
